Position to be filled: Clinical Support Agent

Job Description:

The Clinical Support Agent is responsible, among other things, for the successful implementation of partnerships and the technical understanding of the optimal use of functional electrotherapy. They work in tandem with the Account Director. Their goal is to become a trusted partner and technical support for physiotherapy clinics and other health professionals. They must be seen as agile and to be able to have a scientific dialogue.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Be recognized by health professionals as an "expert" reference in technical support towards optimal self-management for patients in pain or for rehabilitation with muscle stimulation;
  • Cultivate expertise and knowledge in the therapeutic field in pain management, muscle rehabilitation, treatments, protocols, and trends in clinical care by committing to continuing learning through training offered internally or externally as needed;
  • Work closely with the Clinical Partnerships Account Director to ensure the successful implementation of Functional Electrotherapy clinics, ensuring effective coordination of training and administrative aspects. These agents play a crucial role in maintaining collaboration with health professionals and are actively present in the field. Moreover, for certified clinics, they take on the responsibility of mentoring certified therapists.
  • Guarantee the adequate, optimal, and safe use of electrotherapy devices for pain management, muscle function optimization, and pelvic-perineal health within partner clinics, whether through group presentations or the use of the Moodle training tool;
  • Work in collaboration with the ECRF (Clinical Expertise, Research, and Training) department of SET to provide, when required by partners, more in-depth information on the use of electrotherapy in specific pathological contexts (e.g., therapeutic field, clinical study data, summaries of medical publications);
  • Maintain knowledge on the application and use of TENS and/or NMES to offer videoconference teachings on the use of electrotherapy to patients according to SET protocols;
  • Ensure best practices in terms of regulation and compliance; assist and/or present in seminars, symposiums, or other events whose return (reputation/sales) has been demonstrated in the business plan;
  • Participate in the development of annual forecasts;
  • Report daily activities in the CRM system;
  • Ensure that clinics are using the equipment properly and intervene during technical problems;
  • Manage unforeseen situations.


Skills and Requirements:

  • Diploma in Physiotherapy Techniques
  • Member in good standing of the OPPQ (Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec)
